This project is to redesign a book cover and create either a stamp or a coin. The books must be chosen from the collections of either the Folio Society or Penguins Books.
The book I have chosen was the Alice in Wonderland series written by Lewis Carroll.
The second part of the project is making a stamp to tie in with the book theme. Both the author, Lewis Carroll, and the setting of Alice in Wonderland are set in the United Kingdom, so the style of the stamp is derived from the British one. And since silhouette portraits were very common during the Victorian era, I wanted to put that aspect into the design.
